DON’T BURN OUT, BURN ON.

Burning

I will never forget the day I invited John Smith, the leader of the Australian Christian Motorcycle Club, The God Squad, to come and speak to a group of youth leaders who had gathered from across Australia for a conference I had arranged.

John spoke on the calling of Moses by God at a burning bush in the wilderness.
“There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire, it did not burn up. So Moses thought, ‘I will go over and see this strange sight – why the bush does not burn up.’”

WORDS THAT HAVE SHAPED MY LIFE (96) “THE POWER OF REPETITION”

Such was life.

I remember my father teaching me to drive a car.  Before we started, he told me how I would be setting out on roads that were filled with dangerous drivers who could cause serious …
